Chapel

Inspired by the chapel at Callaway Gardens, GA, this piece was developed as a balsa wood joinery assignment. Using Adobe Illustrator for the design and laser cutting for production, each component was precisely crafted and assembled to form a miniature chapel. The work explores the relationship between digital fabrication and hand-joined construction, while paying homage to architectural spaces that evoke reflection and serenity.
