This book nook was created using balsa wood joinery techniques with laser cutting and engraving. It is decorated with 3D-printed books, furniture, a staircase, and a plant, as well as engraved details and fairy lights to bring the space to life. I also designed a back window using different colored acrylic glass pieces to add depth and visual interest. Designed in Adobe Illustrator and produced through laser cutting and 3D printing, the project also introduced me to 3D design, which I used to model the plant and engineer a functional hinge for the door. The piece blends precision fabrication with imaginative detail to create a miniature world of warmth and curiosity.
